Spanish I (1 Credit)
Level I of high school Spanish offers the opportunity for acquisition of four basic language skills—listening, speaking, reading and writing with an emphasis on Hispanic cultures and recognition of the interdependence of languages.

Spanish II (1 Credit) Ś
Level II continues Level I emphasis on listening and speaking skills. More complex grammatical structures are introduced and reading and writing skills are developed at a higher level of proficiency. The roles of culture and language in general are studied more in depth. Level II students are expected to have knowledge of Hispanic countries and their importance in today’s world.

Spanish III (1 Credit) Ś
Students will continue their development into the four language skills while concentrating on conversational Spanish as it relates to the work force. This course will include activities that will enhance the student’s proficiency in speaking and listening skills with a special emphasis on vocabulary related to various careers. Students will be graded on both oral and written proficiency.
