Transportation

Every effort is made to assure that Caddo Mills Elementary School students arrive at school and back home safely every day. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us achieve that goal.

Morning car riders-Please drop students off in the back at the cafeteria. Do not drop a student off before 7:30 a.m. because there are no teachers on duty before that time.

Afternoon car riders-Please remain in your car and form two lines at the front of the building. Signs with your child(ren)'s name will be available in the office. We ask that you post this sign in your car window. As you pull up, your child will be called from the building and walked to your car.

Afternoon bus riders-These students will be walked to the appropriate location by their teacher at the end of the day. Please make sure your child knows the color of bus (s)he is to ride. A list of bus numbers and colors is listed below.

**If changes are made to your child's routine, please send a note stating these changes to your child's teacher. If you need to call the office, please so before 2:45 p.m. It is extremely difficult to get messages to teachers/students after this time due to dismissal procedures. Please note that we cannot take a student's word for a change in procedure. If you do not provide a written note or call the office, your child will be dismissed as usual. We also must have written permission for your child to ride home (car or bus) with another student for any reason, such as a sleepover, going to practices, etc.
