The Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) provides the Caddo Mills ISD public a way to review and evaluate the educational performance of the District and of each campus. Areas of evaluation include the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS), Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores, attendance, dropout rates, and other indicators.
The four possible Accreditation/Accountability ratings assigned to schools by the Texas Education Agency are : Exemplary (meets or exceeds state exemplary standards) , Recognized (meets or exceeds required improvement and within 10% of state exemplary standards, Academically Acceptable (below the exemplary or recognized standards but exceeds the academically unacceptable stands), or Academically Unacceptable (below the state clearly unacceptable performance standard and does not meet required improvement). For the 2004-2005 AEIS Report, the elementary school and the middle school were rated Recognized and the high school was rated academically acceptable. The district's ratings are reflected in the table below.
